About Katie Geneva Cannon:
Dr. Cannon was born January 3, 1950 in Kannapolis, NC. She was a Christian theologian and ethicist and the first African American woman ordained in the United Presbyterian Church (USA). She was also a founding director of The Daughters of the African Atlantic Fund giving her time, many talents and resources.
