Rosetta E. Ross is professor of religion at Spelman College where she led reorganization of the religion curriculum into a religious studies program. She is author of Witnessing and Testifying: Black Women, Religion, and Civil Rights, co-author of The Status of Racial and Ethnic Clergywomen in the United Methodist Church (with Jung Ha Kim), and co-editor of Unraveling and Reweaving Sacred Canon in Africana Womanhood (with Rose Mary Amenga-Etego). She has held visiting posts at Emory University, Hamline University, Africa University (Zimbabwe), Tilburg University (The Netherlands), and Howard University. A United Methodist clergywoman and trustee of the College of St. Benedict, Ross co-led consultations of African and African Diasporan Women in Religion and Theology at Legon, Ghana in 2012 and 2014. Her partner, the Reverend Ronald S. Bonner, is pastor of the Lutheran Church of the Atonement in Atlanta.
