JOIN THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AFRICAN ATLANTIC FUND ON GIVING TUESDAY

Dear Daughters and Friends,
We have been so encouraged by our donors for the last ten years since our founding in 2013! We look forward to your continued support while also hoping to connect with new donors to our organization this Giving Tuesday November 28, 2023. Through our health and educational initiatives in the U.S., Ghana, and South Africa, we empower young women and girls to explore their own value and power.
With your help, our health initiative will continue its global reach with webinars addressing issues of health and well-being that are critically important to young women and girls. This webinar health series includes collaboration with African descended girls and a project to supply personal fittings and bra apparel for 100 young girls in two South African cities in 2024.
Through our education initiative we will provide book scholarships to young women who are students at two academic institutions located in Mississippi and Louisiana to support mentoring and career development. In addition, we will continue our global intergenerational conversations by supporting registration costs for a minimum of 30 young women and girls to attend the Circle of Concerned African Women Theologians Conference scheduled July 1-5, 2024 in Legon, Ghana.
